i was spelling it wrong but thought i was right because i kept reciting the rhyme (i before e except after c unless contrary febuary) and i was getting mad at the red lines that always tell me im misspelling something. and then i realized the red lines were right! and the written english language is stupid

The Fight Continues

so it was a rough week with the ipod. a few times i picked it up just to slam it back down cause it was being stupid. after spending a lot of time on it the other day i got it formatted and it appeared operational. so this morning before work i opened up the itunes plugged in the ipod and it recognized it! that was the deal the other day my computor could use it as a portable drive but itunes wouldnt recognized that it was connected. so first thing im stoked. check a few settings, lift up a prayer, and hit sync. it had been going for a few minutes but i had to get to work so i left it. last time it would only load like 1000 songs at a time so it took a few tries. well i just got home turn the moniter back on and see that the ipod screen reads charged. itunes says sync completed. it appears that everything loaded. well everything that i could expect to since i have a few strange files that dont really exist in itunes. so yeah looks like it will work. im beyond happy. i was really hoping it would work so i would have it for camping. so tomorrow ill drop a couple more cds on it and see how it works out. ill be happy if it just plays. which really what more could i ask for from an mp3 player? its been a hard fought battle and it looks like i may have emerged triumphant.

Milestones

so im approaching a couple of big things. ok they really arent but they kinda are. first...no sugar may. one more day left and well i did have a couple of mishaps but for the most part i didnt have sugar stuffs. soda wasnt that hard to not have but it was all the snacks. we get together and eat snack stuffs and that was hard. that and laura always has ice cream and candy! the worst part was having to look at food labels to see if i could have it. thats annoying. to have to think about what youre eating. but those days are just about over.
the second accomplishment if you would call it that, i wouldnt, is im almost at 100 consecutive days of devos. now that sounds like cause for celebration so why not. but really it doesnt mean that much to me. im excited for it but i mean what if i kept that up for the rest of my life. thats like thousands of days so what significane does 100 hold? i try not to think about it as numbers. i want to focus and seeking out god and spending time with him. this has been kinda a training i guess. and its not like eachday has been awesome. honestly some have sucked. some were great. and some just happened. its almost a habit. well sometimes it is but for the most part its something i choose to do out of want not obligation. but i dont realy know what to say about it. i have a book that tells me to read some scripture and asks me to think about it. sometimes i deviate but for the most part im lead through it. i think its good but could be better if i was being more active in my search for good. but that can come later or in addition.
so heres to living my life in a couple of interesting ways.

Dusty vs. mp3

Round 1
so earlier today i had problems with itunes just trying to upload some cds. a couple i was able to resolve and a couple i couldnt. but i got the music uploaded and i was mostly content with that. but seriously why wouldnt it let me put in the artist name the way i want it and the way its supposed to be. instead i type 1 letter and it defualts to some horrible incorrect name that im sure plenty of people have and dont even realize is wrong. and then it wouldnt even recognize a couple of cds for who knows what reason so i had to manually input a bunch of information. seems like some other stuff hassles occured but i cant recall them presantly.
Round 2
now im trying to sync approximately 400 songs to the ipod. but whats this? the ipod appears to be corrupted and i have to restore it. fine. it was having issues before anyway. approximately 200 files couldnt be synced for various reasons. unauthorized computer, couldnt locate file, incompatible file type (even though it came from itunes). so syncing begins on about 4200 songs. this takes about an hour and a couple of random diconnects. but it syncs to the end of the list and then this window pops up saying it couldnt sync because the required file could not be found. what file! why after all that time does it have to happen at the end and remove everything from the pod again. ok fine lets try again. sync. required file cannot be found. so i adjust a couple of settings. required file cannot be found. find dammit! restore again. this time it jumps like 2 stepd all on its own and didnt let me select important settings. fine whatever ill fix that later. sync. required disk cannot be found. what that fuck does that mean! ok restore again. oh and i forgot to mention that between each failed sync and restore the ipod locks up and i ahve to manually restart it and thats fucked up. it was safely removed so why was it frozen at the do not disconnect screen! so it restored, it lets me select inital settings. sync. currently its about 25% done. lets hope this time it works.

since im sure my struggles with itunes and my ipod will never end lets just say i lose in this situation. stuck with a damn busted ipod and a shitty piece of software

why am i always annoyed when people dont stop at red lights?
why do i enforce guidance that i dont even really follow at church?

why do i still get frustrated with rebekah?
can i really focus and make some of these ideas happen?

that party was the worst hours of my life in like 6 months.
